About
About Khaltrix
Khaltrix provides business voice connectivity: SIP trunks, hosted phone systems and phone numbers for organisations that need calls to work reliably with the systems they already run. We scope each deployment technically, document what we configure and test it with you before it carries live traffic.
- Four focused services
- Configuration in writing
- Tested before go-live
What we do
Three services, each with a defined scope
We concentrate on the parts of business telephony that connect a phone system to the outside world. Each service is described in detail on its own page.
SIP Trunking
SIP trunks that connect the IP PBX you already run to the public telephone network, for inbound and outbound calling.

Cloud PBX
A hosted phone system with extensions, call menus, queues and voicemail, for organisations that would rather not run a PBX.

Virtual Numbers
Local, national and toll-free numbers routed to your trunk, PBX or cloud system, including porting of existing numbers where possible.

Organisations that depend on the phone
Our services are designed for organisations ranging from single-site businesses replacing ageing lines to partners connecting many customer systems. What they share is a need for calls that behave predictably.
- Call centres and BPOs Sizing concurrent capacity, presenting the right caller ID and setting controls that prevent unexpected usage.
- Contact centres Routing inbound numbers predictably into queues, with failover planned alongside the numbers themselves.
- IT service providers and MSPs A documented, repeatable way to connect client phone systems that their own engineers can support.
- VoIP resellers Trunks and numbers per end customer, with provisioning steps and support boundaries agreed in writing.
- Enterprise communications Several sites on one voice architecture, local numbers for each location and resilient routing between them.
- Software and AI companies SIP connectivity and numbers for voice applications, with codec, latency and transfer requirements agreed up front.
How we work
The working principles behind every deployment
These apply from the first conversation to the review after go-live. The step-by-step process is described on the How it works page.
-
Technical scoping
We start with your platform, network, numbers and call patterns. A proposal written before those are understood is a guess, so we ask first and quote second.
-
Compatibility first
Your PBX model and version, authentication method, codecs, DTMF handling and firewall are reviewed before you commit. Problems found at this stage cost nothing to fix.
-
Transparent terms
Quotes are itemised: channels, numbers, minutes, one-off work and anything else you will be charged for, each explained. If something is not included, the quote says so.
-
Documented configuration
You receive the settings your service uses on a configuration sheet, so your own team or IT partner can support and change it without depending on us for every detail.
-
Structured testing
Inbound calls to each number, outbound calls to key destinations, keypad tones, caller ID and failover are tested against a written plan before live traffic moves.
-
Plain communication
We explain what is possible, what is not and what depends on third parties such as carriers and regulators, in language your engineers and your finance team can both use.
Our position on claims
What we will and will not claim
Telecommunications marketing is full of figures that cannot be checked. We would rather give you accurate information that holds up when your engineers test it.
What you can expect from us
- Tell you when a requirement depends on a carrier, a regulator or your own network
- Confirm number availability and outbound routes for your specific destinations
- Give you a realistic schedule for your project before you commit
- Put the configuration we agree in writing, and test against it
- Say plainly when a feature, such as end-to-end encryption, cannot be offered on a given route
What you will not find on this website
- Publish uptime percentages or performance figures we cannot evidence for your service
- Display customer logos, testimonials or awards
- Publish a blanket country list that may be out of date by the time you read it
- Promise provisioning or porting dates that are set by other carriers
- Imply partnerships or certifications with the PBX vendors whose platforms we connect
Where a capability depends on the route, the destination or your own equipment, our pages say it is confirmed per deployment. That wording is deliberate: it means we check before we commit.
